Every Friday Maddyness offers a summary of fundraisers that have shaken the French startup ecosystem during the week. This week, 59.5 million euros raised in 12 transactions with two large raisers and Talentsoft qwant, 25 million euros each.
In total this week, 12 operations, details of which can be found in the table, have helped raise 59.58 million euros. Two major operations were talking about them: raising € 25 million Talentsoft and lifting, the same amount of qwant, the Franco-German search engine presented by some as the European Google.
Also of note this week, the indefinite postponement of the IPO Deezer, scheduled Wednesday, October 28 and the entrance to the Paris Stock Exchange Showroomprive this Friday, October 30th, in the presence of the Minister of Economy and Finance Emmanuel Macron.
Other financial news of the week:
- Christophe Courtin, Founder of Santiane Group (and former CEO) Investment launches Courtin, a French fund "Venture capital".
- Partech International is the main investor in the fund raising 30 million euros Brandwatch, one of the largest European companies of unlisted SaaS.
Side crowdfunding:
- The site Welp that puts self-help and citizen engagement for everyone and gives life to the solidarity that once existed between neighbors, launches its second fundraising in crowdfunding on 1001pact.com.
- RueCentrale which develops the first local mobile marketing solution enabling independent businesses and retailers of French commercial areas to communicate directly and in real time on the smartphone of their clients conducting a second campaign SmartAngels and expects to achieve a lifting of 100 000 euro fund 300 000 euros.
- My Master Square Brazeco and have completed their campaign on the platform Raizers.com rising respectively 150 000 and 89 000 euros.
- Percko, the first second-skin clothing for adopting a better posture in everyday life and thus fight against the well known back pain all launched a campaign on Kickstarter. The campaign of 35 days of original goal was to raise 30,000 euros in funds to develop the product and start production. At the end of three days, it is 315,000 euros that have already been harvested.
