Halfway between BlaBlaCar and Drivy, MOPeasy, originally a car-sharing platform EVs and carpooling, raises € 3.4 million to democratize its offer.
Combining car sharing, carpooling and local booking charge electric vehicles, MOPeasy is a comprehensive mobility platform for companies and communities. Founded in 2010 by experts in new technologies and the environment, and directed by Bruno Flinois (pictured), she realizes one second fundraising of € 3.4 million, from its historical investors, among whom find the Regional Co-Investment Fund of the Ile de France (FRCI) and networks of business angels Investessor and BADGE, not joined Caisse des Dépôts.
This capital increase will allow to develop its monautopartage.fr MOPeasy platform, adding new features and providing new technological developments that will enable the startup to deploy more heavily its community offering, meets the requirements of the energy transition.
"The relevance of the approach advocated by MOPeasy and quality of services provided by its platform, supported in this by many contracts and partnerships, convinced us to be part of his adventure and to support its ambitions. Disintermediation being of our societies, combined with the urgent nature of environmental issues increasingly structuring, requires solutions such as MOPeasy. Put ecomobility and car sharing accessible to all private and public actors, let alone of "small" or landlocked, part of a process of general interest, "commented Gabrielle Gauthey, Director of Investment and Development local Caisse des Dépôts.
The offer MOPeasy is "Plug & Play", that is to say, it works with all electric vehicles without the need to modify them, they belong to the community, the company or individuals. Interoperable with large charging stations management platforms, joint mobility and smart grid, MOPeasy facilitates establishment "à la carte" of shared mobility services.
With fifteen employees MOPeasy already showing customers include companies such as EDF and administration, Colas, Marne la Vallée University or Olympique Marseille and lessors Habitat (Plurial, Coopimmo ...). MOPeasy also operates carsharing small rural communities like Tinchebray in Orne (2500 inhabitants) as well as territorial platforms like that of Marne-la-Vallée (100 stations, 300 000 inhabitants).
